The colorful image of Barbie played by Margot Robbie driving, sliding and rollerskating suggests the filmmaker, Greta Gerwig, ‘s ambition to be seen as an artist not just a director. Her art remains elusive of any controversial topics in today’s world, such as abortion, women’s rights and civil progress. However the scene of which Barbies dance through the nights reveal the truth of the movie, everybody loves popcorns and musical. People don’t just want to see themselves in the movies.
