What type of jail is Vanier?

I was arrested in 2021, and then 2023. They put me briefly in Vanier centre for women. I remembered sitting in a cell and kept calling for officers. Or I used toilet paper to write a draft of c magazine review while officers poked their heads in and checked on me. I was released soon after I tried to change my underwear with period the second time I was there. Then I had a legal aid free lawyer Justine Fitzgerald. We did a mental health diversion. Then I was discharged. I would say Vanier seems like an old fashioned jail, exactly like those depicted on the movies, media and tv shows.  Etc.
