rainbows’ full name is for coloured girls who have considered suicide /when rainbow is enuf – the peony pavilion. it is a piece of Chinese theatre inspired by New York, Toronto and Los Angeles. it is about how women are perceived in a world of careers, professions and powerful people (men, women, etc.). it corroborated multiple documentary footages and media to concisely tell the stories of coloured girls who have considered suicide. in 2020 I have slept on a desk for a year and homeless in an apartment. it is then I found my interest in organizing theatre and drama projects in relation to my video and writing practice. this work explores the sexuality through gendered narratives of mental illnesses, psychological troubles and disabilities. etc.
