Yuling Chen is a Chinese Canadian new media artist. She is specialized in making works about beauty, labour and racial tensions using media archives exploring histories of new media art. She was born in 1990 on the southern small island of China, Hainan Island, in the city of Danzhou. When she was young she led a nomadic life moving from cities to cities, homes to homes and places to places. Thus, she had discovered her love in literature, obsession with identity, and eyes for design.
Place prized objects, clothes and some tarot decks, objects that no longer spark joy, outside.
City bylaws, concrete project. Affecting changes in the neighborhood. People come with their trucks to redo the roads.
