Yuling Chen is a Chinese Canadian new media artist. She is specialized in making works about beauty, labour and racial tensions using media archives exploring histories of new media art. She was born in 1990 on the southern small island of China, Hainan Island, in the city of Danzhou. When she was young she led a nomadic life moving from cities to cities, homes to homes and places to places. Thus, she had discovered her love in literature, obsession with identity, and eyes for design.
To be honest I found that friends tv show pretty sexist and racist. It’s all over social media. I don’t know why it gets awards. I was watching it when I was young. And it left an impression on me of how rich these characters were to be able to afford living in the New York City. Why aren’t there new shows on social media?
