Yuling Chen is a Chinese Canadian new media artist. She is specialized in making works about beauty, labour and racial tensions using media archives exploring histories of new media art. She was born in 1990 on the southern small island of China, Hainan Island, in the city of Danzhou. When she was young she led a nomadic life moving from cities to cities, homes to homes and places to places. Thus, she had discovered her love in literature, obsession with identity, and eyes for design.
In the contemporary world, misunderstandings often happens when people don’t communicate. It has made many people feel hostile towards strangers, friends and people. It is unnecessary. It often brews disputes and conflicts. This is what I’m understanding after I posted my film photography. Etc.
