My family environment in China has decided my relationships with other people. In 2008 I left home to study at Sichuan university. My parents have since asked me to go to my aunt’s place in Chengdu so the relatives could take care of me. It was like a chore. It was really unnecessary. But still I went. Occasionally with my new friends and classmates. My aunt was asking me to get contact lenses because I didn’t wear my glasses all the time. I tried. And it wasn’t for me. I have had a temper. My parents moved me from one school to another often. Constantly when I faced strangers in schools, my temper flared up. And I needed to gauge what type of persons these people are all the time. Then I treated them accordingly. I often found myself in some relationships of which people are really manipulative trying to blame whatever is happening to them on me snidely. And because I decided to go to school the second time hoping to get a different degree for a new career, it’s always with some people who are younger than me from the school and emphasizing they are younger. We are in the same generations. I recognized they are mostly apprentice and assistants in love described in those hafiz poems. After graduating, I no longer talked to them. I thought about my relationships at home recently. I realized it’s how I felt about my parents coloring my world. Etc.
