I was in the New York City in the summer of June 2026 and going from Los Angeles where I did a road trip and just visited. I saw a black man being hassled by police outside of the port authority. He was very emotional and screaming. It left an impression on me. I was torn between watching them as they left the spot and going back into the bus station. It made me think about all sorts of arrests made by ICE. They were installed at the airport in February and March when I happened to fly to the New York. I walked around them looking for food and buying some. They looked exactly like the airport securities. That also left an impression on me. After I came back I saw on xiaohongshu some Chinese people were arrested by them. It made me realize they could arrest you if they think you are illegally immigrating. This abuse of power has made many people uncomfortable going and visiting the United States. There are police brutality. And there are people who just plainly want to have a better life in the u.s.a. Has everybody gone insane?
