Yuling Chen is a Chinese Canadian new media artist. She is specialized in making works about beauty, labour and racial tensions using media archives exploring histories of new media art. She was born in 1990 on the southern small island of China, Hainan Island, in the city of Danzhou. When she was young she led a nomadic life moving from cities to cities, homes to homes and places to places. Thus, she had discovered her love in literature, obsession with identity, and eyes for design.
I have been thinking about my trip to L. A. It has made me realize how rich people could get by selling real estates. The la Brea tar pit certainly open minds for how amazing the exhibitions were. What left an impression on me is people and subway. They were all minding their own businesses on the trains.
