The movie primetime reveals a much troubled premise, rapists deserve sympathy. It goes nowhere from there hitting a wall with nonstop energy of mischief. The performance of Robert Pattinson has not aged well in the indie movie. He has not grown out of the youthful energy of Harry Potter franchise. It made him a star. But it didn’t teach him how to act. The movie keeps bringing up the two dichotomy of women, a rather sexist conceits, whore or Virgin Mary. What is it trying to say about today’s feminist movement dwindling as the pioneers such as Gloria Steinem passed away? At least Emma Watson got an advanced degree.
