Herbaceous Violet is a cosmetic business that sells self made, tested, and pre-packaged organic makeup. It focuses on the ingredients, mostly natural plants, minerals and other materials. It is about how it can combat the common skin disasters such as sunburns, eczema and rosacea.
- Identifying your business opportunity
My business opportunity is mostly open ended plans for people who are at least 30 years old. It targets mature skin and some rather youthful skin through a precious oil extraction method. In ancient Egypt people believe in the safety and well rounded security of oil extraction method. I think this will broaden the cosmetic markets from mostly women to men.
- Marketing and sales strategy of a business plan
My marketing strategy is using the word love to market the product. I intend to design recycled packages which pair up different astrological signs through branding. My sales strategy is to organize large sample sale selling them at 3 /4 of the price.

Yuling Chen is the executive director of the business. My mother Bin Chen can be the brand spokesperson in China.
- Operations
My operations are getting the ingredient suppliers to work 5 days a week with the scientist. Then the makeup will be packed and shipped to major outlets after we sign contractual deals.
