Has romance gone out of the windows?
The exhibition at the art museum, blind spot, … displayed works ranging from provocative to profane. The images and the installation criticizes the recent atrocities of Israel Palestine conflicts, Venezuela tankers attack, China Iran and us wars. It has reframed these wars as a method for people to make money. In realities truth is more complex than fiction : no one is benefiting from these wars, conflicts and atrocities. People are suffering. One of the works show a woman with elastic body gagged, or sucking on baby pacifier and spitting out cubes of words. It is a criticism of how these wars affect people’s psychologies and bodies reducing them to mere chess piece for politicians such as Donald j. Trump, Mamdani zohran, mark carney, xi jinping, Justin Trudeau and Gavin Newsom. It takes a dark turn in another room setting up lights, lamps and disarrayed furnitures. It is an omen of what is to come, a possible funding shortage, a welfare state or a famine. The realities of these exhibitions are crazy. They are profoundly unhappy like a romance gone awry. Etc.
