Statement: the 2 channeled media installation requires only usb and monitors. It explored the frameworks of jean baudrillard’s theories of spectacles through media images, found footage and other footages. It has an intrinsic effect on people’s psychology and their mental states. It is investigating a roster of performances through singing, performance art, and self-recorded videos. etc.

Concept: the video installation is about how people react to the news. It is about the shocks often transmogrified into fears through the news evolution and imageries. The work is a collection of images embroiled in conflicts, wars, rhetorics developed from various political events. etc.

Essay: does love make people crave money?

Love is an emotion that people have when they have affinity with another. It often makes people wonder about other people, strangers and friends in an infatuated way. There is a narrative nowadays in urban spaces, on the web and everywhere that love is too powerful an emotion to be had in the lives. It has created a desire for money that is unnatural and insidious. Many people realize they don’t want money but love later in life. However love has become synonym of money that no one seems to be able to live without them. The cycles of productions in the capitalist food chain often relegate love as a numeric values attached to a consumer product. It has created an illness and broken mentality about emotions, treating emotions as evil like capitalistic production chains. It has made china, iran, and various third world countries scapegoat of the western institutions’ productions and product lines. It has become hard to criticize israel palestine conflicts, wars and political events due to this increased knowledges about love as a price tag, a consumption and a consumer products. etc.
