Legally Blonde

Legally blonde

Legally blonde is a movie I found hard to fathom its premises. Who would go chase some guy who dumped you to Harvard? I would just continue my way looking for a new boyfriend. The movie is advertising a type of American exceptionalism that drives the engines of individual living. It wants you to work hard, to prove you are beside people’s judgement and you are not completely useless to the society. It differs from the Chinese mentality of taking everything as a given trying to preach the doctrines of Christianity and energy efficient living. It makes you wonder about your intentions on the way to success. It asks the question of what type of person Elle woods is for facing her private troubles with a smile and go for it attitudes. People are shocked by her reinvention of her image. People are shocked she could get into the Harvard university just based on one video tape. What is at work here is her relentless drive to be perfect, to be good and to be an example for others to follow. Nothing had rocked the boats these much except her intellectual curiosity originated from the heartbreaks, traumas or breakups. Even the cases she took on in the film shows a type of disciplinarian Elle woods is, she wants everything to go perfectly. Etc.
