Hong Kong was locked down by the national security law. Its pro-democracy marches have taken off in quite a strange light right after Chan Yin-lam, a hkdi student, was killed. It spreaded various conspiracy and information about people online and in real life. The protests are doubled down as a reminder of how hard Hong Kong people worked over the years for their democratic reforms and governments. It suggested women and their virginity are the only attributes worth noting in today’s lights. It has also posted everywhere of chan yin-lam’s death as a homicide through investigations, news and information selected to be published on social media. It accused people of things they did not do. It gives people who don’t deserve it another chance to make works to praise them. It has rescinded all offers of immigration, jobs and nationalities through a manipulative workaround to get people talk about natural disasters and fires through the permanent and temporary installation of Lennon walls. Etc.
