When I first saw the centennial celebration: Marilyn the exhibit, I got tingles. The idea she might not be dead but actually died physically has made the exhibit a gigantic machine for political favors. It criticizes Israel Palestine conflicts, wars and political events through setup, makeup rooms and random displays of videos and objects. It seems to say a lot about China while remaining aloof and hard to decipher. The exhibition selected several clothings and performance of Marilyn. It also added her detractors’ interviews. The scandalizing nature of these exhibits put China on the back burners for its lack of relevant cultural productions. The exhibition also pointed out how outlandish China has become due to the increased western pressure to support Ukraine. China disregards this demands. China has not made any progress on their international diplomacy.  Etc.
