I saw and met a guy at waterfront in front of farm boy in 2020 or 2021 right after I read an article about TikTok influencers and their clubhouses in Los Angeles. He came out of nowhere with a group of people. I was struck by the scene and since then had become obsessed for a brief period of how I looked at that moment. I thought I was wearing a dress from max mara. It was still in the pandemic. People were rampantly making sure everyone stayed inside their houses and apartments. I was moved by his appearance as if it was specially just to accompany me and made me not as lonely alone in Toronto. Now I’m in Los Angeles on my own vacation plans. I decided to write as many reviews as possible of the exhibitions I saw and am going to see. I wanted to develop writing samples to submit to C magazine and other magazines. I have gotten an angle. I thought for some reason it was because China and censorship that he was there at that time. I wanted to focus my writing on China. I’m going to travel more in order to write more writing samples, pitches and complete reviews. This was a mission possible after years of studying art at OCAD university and other universities. It would be quite rewarding. I had been wanting to change direction and focus of my works since I was in OCAD university. I think this is my chance. Afterwards I would go see if I could get fundings to study for a post graduate degree or master program to further my thoughts, art and careers. Etc.
