I remembered Washington DC. How strange it was. I met some strangers. One of them was called Emilia. She talked about her organization using a pyramid of gratitude as a foundation of their organization. She left soon after. I walked around in the city feeling totally abandoned in the capital of the United States. Recently I saw a headline that ICE arrested people who was fleeing China. I wonder how that is going to impact how people view China and the Chinese people. A period of my career I was in OCAD University studying for another bachelor degree. I view that period as a period of freedom I’m dealing with government, debts and agencies through my performance art and texts. After I graduated from OCAD University, my career took a sharp turn becoming an all consuming affair with news, images and texts. Though I’m still doing a part of that works. I felt comforted knowing things had changed. And it’s going to change nonstop or without a stop. Etc.
