I used to know a lot of people from the universities such as OCAD university, UPEI, and Sichuan university, I attended who are lower to middle classes. They seemed to have no physical boundaries or any awareness of other people. They constantly invade my space and brush their fingers against mine. One of them, lifan Zhou, even covered my whole hand with her hand for at least feeling like eternity in a restaurant. I was shocked constantly. One of them, Janica olpindo, touched the back of my hand on purpose in a dark room. It’s clear she hated Taylor Swift. That’s just so horrifying to me to be honest. If you hate somebody why are you targeting me? Are they homophobic while being a proclaimed lesbian? Are they xenophobic just trying to pick on a girl who has no one and nobody, me? I felt more than just offended, hurt to be honest. Why are they assuming they could force themselves on me? Is it because my English was too slow and having an accent? Why are these people ganging up on me? Is it because I’m opinionated and they are not? Is their entire life and goals from when they are born in their middle classness is to be pretty, clever and hopelessly in love to get married even if they are offensive lesbians? Why don’t they move up their class ladder a little bit and stop bothering me? Etc.
