In 2017 I went to Paris right after the finishing up of global experience project in London with Isaac Julien. Leaf jerlefia Watson, one of classmates in the class, also went to Paris. I told her I preferred traveling alone and rejected her proposal of traveling together to Paris because how she was cold and jealous in London. I just didn’t think it would a great time if we didn’t have space from each other. She looked shocked and resentful. It’s obvious they tried to offload what ever treatment they had suffered in London, a foreign and expensive city on me just because I was Chinese and an immigrant. I felt no regret to be perfectly honest. I went on the bus and went to Paris. After I arrived I first found my Airbnb. Then I went to several museums. At Picasso museum, I was immediately ambushed by classmates back home who pretended they were only seeing me in the museum because they were traveling by themselves. I kept a polite face on and said hello. Then we split right away in the museum. It had severely impacted my day and mood. I recognized they were all racist and for some reason classist, probably a mental association from anything London and UK. I left the museum feeling nothing. It was quite clear to me who these people were. Etc.
