Shokkan at Rom is an exhibition about love. It uses objects associating with Japanese aesthetic to tell a story of migration. People from Japan are the focus of this show. They represent a reality hardly talking about , labour force in overseas companies and corporations from Japan. The show is critical of the nature and natural world with its uncompromising beauty which has spoken through animals’ point of view and languages. Shokkan declare a frenzied mentality over collections and collecting art. People want to reap the rewards. They are consistently bland in terms of its storytelling capacities. Etc.
