花朵的复仇
Flowers’ revenge
Shelby was enlightened. She took her chance for revenge. She put three packets of salt into her dad’s morning coffee. Then she waited. He drank it at the breakfast table. Then he made a face. His handsome features all wrung up together. She asked delicately, “how is it? Your drink?” Her dad, a Chinese man, zi Xing wang, answered, “ well, it’s like drinking knife here.” Shelby laughed, quite maliciously, to be frank. She murmured like a weird fifteen years old that she was, “that’s perfect. It’s exactly what I wanted.” Etc.
