Me too movement in China is different than the me too movement in North America. It’s less about sexual assault and harassment. It’s more about how people could freely express themselves in a repressive state. The obstacles are state machinery and censorship. People have been arrested by protesting the state powers through this movement. It takes me too out of the Hollywood making the movement about more than just women’s autonomy. Etc.
