What do I really think about AI?
In 2016 i made an animation called AI that depicted a dystopian world of which an empress would send herself to space after changing her organ to artificial intelligence technology leaving her child forever behind on earth. Since 2022 the AI debate has exploded after chatgpt was released. The large language modeling inspired vitriol from the right wing political parties such as republican party, right wing groups and Donald Trump recently calling it super intelligence. However compared to them the left wing parties exhibit a muted fear towards the AI that often automatically shut them up about any issues they used to consider to be sacred, such as healthcare, student loan and adfordable living. My opinion on AI is that it’s a technology that tests humanity and the belief of human races. Its intelligence arouses irrational fears about it destroying, dominating and ruining the humans, people and the world. It often makes people forget it’s made by humans and should be regulated. The truth is people are skirmish and agitated about AI claiming it’s anti humans because they are secretly worried if AI can be regulated, then people, anything, can be controlled, regulated and feared in the same way. This is a moebis strip of humanity. They cannot help discovering themselves at their philosophical worst. Is AI just a facsimile of our human hive minds?
